Latonia is married to James Hendry, the mother of three adult children, Shekeyta, Jamall, and Jalen, and Dutchess to Lil Dutchess (Khaliyah) and Lil Duke (Turner). She attends The House That Love Built Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Shirley A. Johnson where she is an Ordained Minister. She loves people and tries to bring knowledge, compassion, and laughter to everyone she meets.

Latonia has a background in Warehousing and Manufacturing; being a
Supervisor at Cardinal Health for seven years and holding the same title
at JCB for eight years. She has worked all of her adult life, pursuing
entrepreneurship in 1997 and full time in 2012. She succeeded in an
environment that was 'male-dominated' and contributes to her humbleness
to not being afraid of hard work.

President and Founder of Sisters Helping Sisters Social Organization for Women, Inc. since 2003. Through the organization, she and the members, are a presence in the city of Savannah and surrounding areas hosting various activities and functions giving back to the community. The organization also strives to help other non-profits with their efforts in the community.
